Estimate/Invoice Terms of Service

I authorize repair work to be performed, including necessary labor, parts, materials, diagnostics, and testing. I grant Southern Diesel Worx (SDW) and its employees permission to operate, move, inspect, and test-drive the vehicle as necessary for diagnosis, repair, and quality control.

Diagnostic charges are due regardless of whether repairs are approved or completed. Estimates are based on visible conditions only; additional repairs may be required upon further inspection or disassembly.

An express mechanic's lien is acknowledged on the vehicle to secure payment of all charges. SDW provides a 12-month/12,000-mile workmanship warranty, whichever occurs first. Warranty repairs must be performed by SDW and shall not exceed the original cost of repair. Parts purchased through SDW are covered only by the manufacturer's warranty. Customer-supplied parts are not covered and hold no labor warranty.

SDW's liability is limited to the failed part or workmanship only. SDW is not responsible for consequential damages, loss of use, downtime, lost profits, towing (except approved warranty claims up to 50 miles), or failures resulting from misuse, neglect, modifications, tuning, emissions alterations, racing, off-road use, or lack of maintenance.

Customer acknowledges that remote start systems, scheduled starts, mobile app starts, key fob starts, or any other remote vehicle activation must be disabled while the vehicle is in SDW's possession. SDW shall not be liable for damages, injuries, or losses resulting from customer-initiated remote vehicle starts or scheduled vehicle activations during service, diagnosis, repair, or storage.

SDW is not responsible for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, weather, or other events, nor for personal property left in the vehicle. Vehicles not picked up within five (5) calendar days after completion notification, or five (5) days after a repair estimate is declined, will incur a lot/storage fee of $20.00 per day.
